Telus to Buy WillowTree for $1.225 Billion, Including Debt

Customer-services company Telus International (Cda.) Inc. said it has agreed to buy digital-product provider WillowTree for $1.225 billion, including $210 million of debt.

The deal is expected to close in January 2023, the companies said.

The deal will bring marquee customers to the company and boost cross-selling abilities, said Darren Entwistle, chief executive of Telus Corp., the telecommunications parent of Telus International.
