Carman enjoys her job at Walmart — especially meeting customers — even though it requires standing for hours at a time. “The customers, they hug me,” Carman said. “And they make me feel like I’m so special to them.”Although she didn’t have plans to stop working, recent medical bills — more than $6,000 in total — are requiring her to keep going.Liz Rizzo met Carman during a recent shopping trip and the two got to know each other.
