Getting started with Freedom Debt Relief isn’t that difficult. You can start the debt relief process online or over the phone.
If you opt to sign up online, here’s what you’ll need to do to enroll:
- Select the ‘See If You Qualify’ link on the homepage to begin filling out the questionnaire.
- Enter the estimated amount of debt you’d like to enroll in the program.
- Enter your name, email address, phone number and state of residence to get your custom results.
- Schedule a free debt consultation over the phone with a certified debt consultant.
- Decide which debt relief option to apply for based on the consultant’s recommendations.
During the debt consultation, you’ll share information about your debt and financial situation. The debt consultant will look at how much you owe and your monthly budget to determine if debt negotiation makes sense for you.
If you decide to move ahead with debt negotiation through Freedom Debt Relief, your debt consultant will develop a custom plan with payments that fit your budget. Once your plan is in place, you’ll begin making a single monthly payment to Freedom Debt Relief. If you haven’t already stopped making payments to your enrolled creditors, you’d need to do that once the plan starts.
From there, you’d just need to make your monthly payment on time while Freedom Debt Relief does the rest. That includes negotiating settlements with your creditors and making sure creditors get paid once an agreement is reached. According to Freedom Debt Relief, it typically takes 24 to 48 months for debt negotiation clients to get out of debt.
