Novant Health Inc. is the presenting sponsor of the inaugural Jumpman Invitational in Charlotte, which involves the original four universities to sign partnership deals with Jordan Brand in basketball and football: Florida, Michigan, North Carolina and Oklahoma.
The Charlotte Sports Foundation is hosting the four-game event.
The men’s and women’s basketball teams are playing in the Spectrum Center with UNC and Michigan men playing at 7 p.m. Wednesday, followed by the Florida and Oklahoma women.
The same matchups, flipping the men’s and women’s teams, took place Tuesday night.
In addition to the four games, the event will feature programs and workshops by the Jordan Wings Initiative and highlight community health initiatives in partnership with Novant.
“We’re proud to be part of this inaugural event that embodies the spirit of healthy competition while elevating health awareness, bringing the community together and generating a significant economic impact for our region,” said Jesse Cureton, Novant’s chief consumer officer.
