Administrative health care in every form steals from actual U.S. health care.
OneCare, an administrative boondoggle created by M.D.s and MBAs to keep hold of $$$, health insurers, pharmaceuticals devoted to federal research and development, Medicare D payments, Medicare Advantage (whose mission to control costs has proved to be another federal teat exploited) and bloated systems full of nice folk providing absolutely no health care — perhaps folks don’t understand the ridiculous approach by Vermont of “primary care for all.”
This means if disease is found, you pay by yourself for treatment or by the crazy copay deductible system! Another wasted option.
We could take one last year for the current system, put together a working group of nurses, patients and longtime students of universal health care/Medicare for All, with consultants from Norway, Germany and Japan, and create a real system.
Aspects of it would be implemented in six months, the rest in one year.
We will retake, by eminent domain all, our public buildings/real estate the hospitals and M.D.s have been buying with our “medical payments” and restore “common good.”
The new “administrative feeding frenzy” is Trumpty’s secret option, with no knowledge by us seniors, to be put in a hedge fund-owned “planned care” pool where hedgers make 35-40% profit off your high-cost Medicare supplement F-type plan. You won’t even know — screwing you while you pay maximum premiums! Only a Trumpty type could invoke this. Just like him paying no taxes.
