Medford High School students will return from winter break to new safety measures after a student was accused of stabbing another student <\/a>in a school bathroom last month.<\/p>\n

In a Friday release, Medford School Superintendent Marice Edouard-Vincent shared that there will be a bathroom schedule and that most restrooms will be closed before and after school. When students do enter a bathroom, an adult will be there to monitor them and no more than two students will be permitted in a bathroom at any given time.<\/p>\n

IDs will also be mandated for all students and faculty. students will be required to eat lunch in the cafeteria and will not be allowed to leave campus.<\/p>\n

During the fight, one student was stabbed in the torso and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The student\u2019s condition was not known Monday.<\/p>\n

A shelter-in-place was issued for the entire school for three hours as police investigated.<\/p>\n
