It\u2019s frustrating, and I won\u2019t stop fighting to get it done in the courts.<\/p>\n<p>Allow me and my friend to explain. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/h1mvaZPCwU\">pic.twitter.com\/h1mvaZPCwU<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 President Biden (@POTUS) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/POTUS\/status\/1619032684378095619?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 27, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"\">Opponents of the Biden administration\u2019s proposal to reduce student loan debt filed briefs with the Supreme Court, arguing that the government had exceeded its power. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Six states governed by Republicans and two individuals who did not qualify for the relief argued in separate filings that the administration <b>should not be permitted to erase up to $20,000 in student loans for eligible borrowers.<\/b> <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"\">Two of the most prominent challenges against Biden administration initiatives before the Supreme Court this term will be heard in an oral argument on February 28. <\/h3>\n<p class=\"\">As a result of the legal challenges, the program is on hold until the summer, leaving millions of borrowers and Biden\u2019s campaign pledge in doubt.
