Getting your hair done can cost a fortune, especially if you are a blonde. Also, while going for a swim on a hot summer day can be relaxing, it does tons of damage to your hair – and your bank account for that matter. The harsh chlorine chemicals that keep your pool clean can not only damage your hair, it can also make your hair turn green! Not to mention all the negative effects it has on your skin and overall health. That’s not something anyone wants to deal with. But what if there was another solution that would let you be able to have the salon style you love AND still be able to swim in your pool worry-free? Well, there is! It’s called the Go Chemless Bio Sanitizer and it can be yours today. Our innovative pool care system uses natural copper and silver ions to maintain the cleanliness of your swimming pool and will not damage your hair! Sound too good to be true? We assure you, it’s not.

If you find yourself stuck with green tinted after swimming in a chlorinated or saltwater pool, there is way to safely correct the green tint effect. First, do not wash your hair with shampoo, that actually increase the green tint. High concentrations of chlorine / pool salt and (some) shampoos when mixed together causes the green hair tint effect to occur.

Use a can of coke a cola and allow the it to soak into the hair for at least 15 minutes then rise the hair with water, repeat the process if necessary. In the future, if you know that you are going swimming that day in a chlorinated or saltwater pool, avoid using shampoo that day and rinse your hair thoroughly with straight water before entering the swimming pool to rinse out any residual shampoo that may still be in your hair. When you are finished swimming, rinse your hair thoroughly with straight water. Don’t use shampoo for at least 12-24 hours.

Sounds like a hassle huh? Well just that’s another downfall of chlorine and saltwater pools. There is a safer and hassle free-way…
